Dr. Bibhas Ranjan Kundu is a graduate from Burdwan Medical College (1985) with several distinctions, securing the highest marks in Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Pharmacology. He completed his Masters in General Surgery from Calcutta Medical College Hospital in 1989, securing the first position in Calcutta University.
With over 35 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kundu has performed more than 6000 LASER procedures for prostate and urinary stones. He established the first LASER unit at CMRI in 2007 for renal stone and prostate diseases, pioneering advanced urological care in Eastern India.
His international training includes fellowships at Johns Hopkins Baltimore (USA), Guy's Hospital London (UK), Asklepios Hospital Hamburg (Germany), and the Institute of Urology & Nephrology in Mansoura (Egypt).
