Dr. Bibhas Ranjan Kundu is a distinguished Senior Consultant Urologist with over 35 years of dedicated service to the field of urology. A gold medalist throughout his academic career, he graduated from Burdwan Medical College in 1985 with highest distinctions in Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Pharmacology, earning the title of Best Graduate from Burdwan University.
He completed his Master's in General Surgery from the prestigious Calcutta Medical College Hospital in 1989, securing the first position in Calcutta University. His pursuit of excellence led him to some of the world's most renowned medical institutions for advanced urological training.
As a pioneer of Laser Urology in Eastern India, Dr. Kundu established the first LASER unit at CMRI in 2007 and has since performed over 6,000 laser procedures for prostate and urinary stone diseases, transforming the landscape of minimally invasive urological care in the region.
